We develop photobioreactors for the cost-effective production of microalgae. In doing so, we follow a clear principle: technologies must not only function in the laboratory but also operate reliably under real-world industrial conditions. We therefore focus on robust designs, ease of maintenance, and the most efficient possible use of materials, energy, and CO₂.
Our goal is to make microalgae production more cost-effective and accessible. Through intelligent design principles and a consistent focus on practical applicability, we create systems that unite research, pilot-scale operations, and industrial production on a shared technological foundation.

Viele unserer technischen Lösungen wurden von Anfang an für den Einsatz im industriellen Maßstab entwickelt. Dadurch lassen sich Prozesse effizient skalieren und auf größere Produktionsanlagen übertragen.
Our photobioreactors are based on proprietary PMMA components, the majority of which we design and manufacture ourselves. Patented design features, aseptic flanges, and innovative cleaning technologies ensure reliable operation while keeping operating costs low.Many of our technical solutions were developed from the outset for industrial-scale application. This allows processes to be scaled efficiently and transferred to larger production facilities.

It is now well known that microalgae hold immense potential: they produce more biomass per unit of surface area than any other organism on Earth—without harming the environment; quite the opposite. High-quality substances for the food, animal feed, chemical, and energy sectors are derived from this biomass. All this is achieved using primarily CO₂ and sunlight for production.
