At Algoliner, recycling and circular economy principles are at the core of our innovation. We are committed to sustainable solutions, and our approach to materials reflects that dedication.

We use 100% PMMA (Plexiglas®) for our pipes, ensuring complete recyclability. When pipes get damaged or reach the end of their lifecycle, they are shredded and mixed with fresh PMMA raw material—allowing us to produce beautiful new pipes without any loss in quality.

In contrast, recycling conventional borosilicate glass tubes is highly challenging due to its high melting point (~820°C), chemical resistance, and contamination risks—making it difficult to break down efficiently and limiting its acceptance in recycling facilities. This results in an energy-intensive process. By utilizing plastics instead of glass, our recycling method operates at significantly lower temperatures, reducing both costs and emissions.
