Microalgae – maximum potential!
It is now known that microalgae have enormous potential - they produce more biomass per surface than any other organism on earth, without polluting the environment - on the contrary. This biomass is used to produce high-quality materials for the food, feed, chemical and energy sectors. All this while primarily using CO2 and sunlight for production.
The microalgae mass is produced in open and closed photobioreactors (PBR).
What makes Algoliner so groundbreaking?
It is a closed PBR system: such systems require only fractions of the amount of water that open systems require and allow the production of biomass of excellent quality, free from contamination. A patented process for hanging the specially developed acrylic glass tubes as well as the production of these tubes on site are groundbreaking new technologies for the realization of PBRs!
